Governing law and language. winegod.ai is operated from Brazil. This English version is an official version of this document. The service and the processing of personal data are governed by Brazilian law, including the LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados). In case of any discrepancy between versions, the Brazilian Portuguese version (pt-BR) prevails.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. winegod.ai uses a minimal set of cookies and local storage to make the product work.

2. Necessary cookies

Without these, the product does not work as expected:

• wg_locale_choice — the language you manually selected. Valid for 1 year.
• wg_locale_choice_at — a timestamp of when the preference was set, used to detect changes. Valid for 1 year.
• wg_ip_country — the country derived from the IP address for language, currency, and market selection. Expires after 24 hours.
• wg_age_verified — the browser-side age confirmation. Valid for 30 days.
• age_gate_token — a technical HttpOnly server cookie that lets the backend recognize the age verification. Valid for 30 days.
• wg_auth_bind — a technical HttpOnly cookie that protects Apple sign-in against fraud when the provider redirects back to us. Valid for 10 minutes.
• Vercel technical cookies — set by the hosting platform to serve the application.

3. Usage analytics cookies

• ph_* — cookies from our usage analytics tool (PostHog), written on the winegod.ai domain. They measure, in aggregate, how the product is used (pages opened, features triggered) and help us fix problems.

These cookies are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and session recording is disabled in the product. If you block them in your browser, winegod.ai keeps working normally.

4. Local storage

We use localStorage and sessionStorage to keep the session alive and to store the ongoing chat history. Our usage analytics tool also stores an identifier there. That data stays on your device and can be cleared via your browser settings.

5. How to manage

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the language cookie, winegod.ai still works, but you will need to pick the language again each session.

6. Changes

This policy may be updated. Material changes will be announced at least 15 days in advance. The date at the top of the page reflects the latest change.
