winegod.ai is an AI service focused on wine, accessible at chat.winegod.ai. This document describes how we handle data from the people who use the product.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Account data (OAuth sign-in)

When you sign in with Google, Facebook, Apple, or Microsoft, we receive from the chosen provider: name, email, and profile picture. We never receive your password.

2.2 Usage data

• Messages you send in the chat (text, photos, videos, PDFs)
• Record of credits consumed (amount, type, date)
• Session identifier and IP address

2.3 Local storage

We use localStorage and sessionStorage in your browser to keep the session alive and to display the current session’s chat history. That data stays on your device.

3. How we use your data

• Provide personalized wine answers
• Track message credits (daily cap)
• Improve the quality of the service

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Third-party services

To function, winegod.ai relies on external services:

• Anthropic (Claude) — natural language processing for the chat
• Google (Gemini) — visual reading of photos and PDFs (OCR)
• Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft — OAuth sign-in
• Render — backend and database hosting
• Vercel — frontend hosting

Each provider has its own privacy policy. Chat messages are processed by Anthropic; for photos and PDFs, also by Google Gemini.

5. Data retention

Your account data stays while your account exists. Usage records (credits consumed) are kept for internal control. You can request deletion of your data as described at Data deletion.

6. Your rights

You can:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
